Stepantsminda-Lars Highway Closed to Freight Transport Due to Precipitation

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that the roads in the Republic of Armenia are passable.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the North Ossetia Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed to freight transport due to precipitation.

According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision to prohibit the entry of foreigners into Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to cargo transportation.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
