Spain's Congress Approves MP Jon Inarritu's Proposal on Nagorno-Karabakh

Spain's Congress has approved the latest proposal from MP Jon Inarritu, expressing condolences to the families of civilians and military victims of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

According to a report by Armenpress, the Armenian embassy in Spain announced that the proposal reaffirms the deep fraternal ties with the Armenian people, emphasizes the protection of Armenian cultural and religious centers in areas under Azerbaijani control or those transitioning to such control, and calls for the European Union to increase humanitarian aid to the inhabitants of Nagorno-Karabakh if necessary. It also advocates for the return of internally displaced persons and refugees to their homes.

It was noted that no political force represented in Congress voted against the aforementioned proposal.
