Pashinyan Signs New Decision on Illegal Export of Cultural Values

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has signed a decision to amend his June 1, 2019, resolution number 661-L.

“Guided by the third point of the first part of Article 33 and Article 34 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Normative Legal Acts, 1. To amend subpoint 32 of point 11 of the annex to the decision number 661-L of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia dated June 1, 2019, 'On Approving the Statute of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, and Invalidating Decisions 701-L, 703-L, and 705-L of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia dated June 11, 2018,' as follows: '32) implements measures to prevent and suppress illegal exports and imports of cultural values and illegal transfers of ownership rights over cultural values, makes decisions regarding the transfer of confiscated cultural values to state museums, libraries, archives for permanent preservation in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia,'” the decision states.
