Identity of Victims in Gyumri Accident Revealed

As previously reported, on November 24 at 12:04 PM, the Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center received a call about a traffic accident in Gyumri on Gharibjanyan Street, with reported casualties.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations rushed to the scene. It was determined that near the ‘CPS’ gas station located at address 3/8 on Gharibjanyan Street, a collision occurred between an ‘Opel Zafira’ car (driver: Davit S., born in 1992) and a ‘Freightliner’ truck (driver: Ramaz Urushadze, a citizen of Georgia, born in 1968).

Before the rescuers arrived, the driver of the ‘Opel Zafira’ and passengers (Armenak H., born in 1992 and Arkadi V., born in 1991) were extracted from the vehicle by bystanders and transported to the hospital in Gyumri, where the driver's condition was assessed as stable, while the passengers were reported in extremely serious condition.

The rescuers also disconnected the power supply to the ‘Opel Zafira’ vehicle.
