ICRC Staff Visit Captives in Azerbaijan

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) staff have visited military personnel and civilians held captive in Azerbaijan as a result of armed conflicts. This was reported by the Armenian Unified Information Center.

It is noted that with the mediation of representatives of the Russian Federation's peacekeeping forces and the ICRC, the search for missing persons and the retrieval of the bodies of the deceased are currently underway.

The agreed search operations are being conducted daily, covering all border directions of Artsakh. The return of captives and the exchange of the bodies of the deceased remain one of the priorities for state bodies, with ongoing comprehensive efforts in this direction.
