Defense Army Continues to Present Heroic Episodes

Lieutenant Colonel Armen Valerie Balayan has skillfully led his unit throughout the combat operations, directly participating in the defense of one of the positions, conducting reconnaissance as a group, and destroying one enemy tank, one armored personnel carrier, and one infantry fighting vehicle during the engagement. This information was shared by the Artsakh Defense Army as they presented heroic episodes.

“Private Arkadi Karo Verdyan displayed personal bravery by managing to evacuate the dead and wounded under enemy fire. During the engagement with enemy fire, Sergeants Gor Patvakan Ghazaryan, Sahak Marat Sarghisyan, Suren Norayr Arzumanyan, and Privates Garik Tatosi Najaryan and Gurgen Genayi Antonyan stood out. During the same operation, Sergeant Gagik Armen Sarghisyan ensured steady and uninterrupted communication.

In the intense battles in the northern direction, exceptional courage was exhibited against the enemy’s diversionary group by Junior Sergeant Aram Vardani Danielyan, Privates Edgar Karen Kocharyan, Narek Ashot Nikoghosyan, Gor Gagiki Atayan, Maxim Robert Vardanian, Hovik Vahe Oskeanyan, Edgar Mameyi Muradyan, Mikael Kamayi Harutyunyan, Arsen Romiki Hovsepyan, and Junior Sergeant Davit Vardani Hakobyan,” reported the Defense Army.
