We Express Our Gratitude to the Russian Federation and Special Thanks to Vladimir Putin: President of Artsakh
The President of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, has expressed gratitude towards the Russian Federation and specifically to President Vladimir Putin, for their efforts in stopping the bloodshed in the Azerbaijan-Karabakh conflict zone. In a post on his Facebook page, Harutyunyan highlighted the significance of the stabilization of the situation due to the actions taken by the high leadership of the Russian Federation.
“We express our gratitude to the Russian Federation and a special thanks to President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin for the mediating efforts aimed at stabilizing the situation and for the cessation of fire and stopping the war, as well as for the support provided in restoring peace and stability in our region,” Harutyunyan wrote.
According to the presidential decree of the Russian Federation, Russian peacekeeping forces have been deployed in our republic's territory. At this moment, the Russian peacekeeping contingent has completed its deployment process and has commenced the implementation of its assigned tasks, becoming a crucial factor in stabilizing the complex situation surrounding the republic.
Effective cooperation has been established with the command staff of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Nagorno-Karabakh, headed by Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov. The resolution of key issues related to the maintenance of peace, stability, and the safety of our citizens requires high professionalism and resilience from the peacekeeping personnel, which can sometimes pose a life-threatening risk.
On behalf of our people, I wish to express gratitude for creating favorable conditions for the stabilization of the situation, establishing and maintaining peace, and for the efforts in solving various problems. Valuing the contribution and efforts of the Russian Federation toward stabilizing the situation, I would like to express special thanks for the concern shown for the fate of the residents of Artsakh, the humanitarian assistance provided, and the active participation in the restoration and development of the Republic of Artsakh.
In order to facilitate solutions to humanitarian issues and restore civil infrastructure, an Inter-Agency Humanitarian Response Center is being established. By the order of the Russian Minister of Defense, five additional centers are being formed within the framework of the Inter-Agency Humanitarian Response Center to comprehensively address all humanitarian issues in Nagorno-Karabakh. Russian servicemen are escorting our citizens who have been previously evacuated from their settlements and ensuring the safety of humanitarian cargo transportation. The first humanitarian convoy from the Ministry of Emergency Situations has already arrived in Nagorno-Karabakh.
We also express our gratitude to the President of the Russian Federation for his personal active efforts aimed at protecting the historical and cultural monuments and spiritual sites located in the territory of the Republic of Artsakh, which hold significant importance both for our people and in preserving the integrity of various cultures in global heritage,” Harutyunyan emphasized.
