Shake Isayan Responds to My Step Colleague Sofia Hovsepyan's Post

GKP member Shake Isayan has addressed My Step colleague Sofia Hovsepyan's post on his Facebook page.

He specifically wrote: “I read Sofia Hovsepyan’s post regarding the activities of the NA Human Rights and Public Affairs Committee. Mrs. Sofia Hovsepyan, if you haven’t noticed yet, I must say that the state apparatus is completely paralyzed, as the Prime Minister, of which your team is a part—and you too—has signed a disgraceful capitulation document. And officials, distinguished for their organizational incompetence, have ultimately failed their entrusted sectors these days; witnesses are the people of Karvachar, Martakert, Martuni, and other localities who found themselves spontaneously abandoned, left alone with their pain. I hope you are aware of the list of villages surrendered to the enemy. Moreover, the world is talking about simply handing over Shushi. This is just an aside: Here it was said, ‘instead of the village chirping, it is the selyan that chirps.’

As for the committee: How can you know what the committee and its individual members—whom I believe also includes your teammates—have done and are doing during these days? How could you know what structures they have contacted, what letters have been sent, what visits have been made? If the measure of work for you is the posts made on Facebook, then let me remind you that because of that methodology, we lost our Homeland. Populism is a path leading nowhere...

P.S. 1. As a general rule, the political responsibility of the team for the irreversible damage done to the Homeland should be shared through concrete actions, as Gayane Abrahamyan did with a Gyumri-style decency.

It is noteworthy that earlier My Step member Sofia Hovsepyan had expressed grievances about the activities of the NA Human Rights Committee on her own Facebook page.
