Putin Praises the Work of Russian Peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh

Russian President Vladimir Putin has praised the effective and coordinated work of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh. "Taking this opportunity, I would like to note the precise, well-coordinated work of the Russian peacekeepers," Putin said during a meeting about the Russian peacekeeping mission in the region.

According to him, the rapid demining has allowed for the establishment of reliable communication in the region, and the deployment of Russian peacekeeping forces has helped to stop the bloodshed and avoid new casualties. "Now the priority is to support the residents of this region who have been seriously affected by military operations," Putin stated.

He noted that a humanitarian response inter-agency center is being created to address the issues existing in the region. "I am aware that, considering the challenges faced by the center, specialized units are currently being formed," the president added.
