No Threat to the Lives of Those Injured in Landmine Explosion in Mataghis Region
The State Emergency Service of Artsakh reports that on November 23, three emergency service personnel, one soldier from the Defense Army, and one Russian peacekeeper were injured in a landmine explosion in the Mataghis region.
"The injured are currently in medical facilities. None of their lives are in danger," stated Hunan Tadevosyan, head of the information and public relations department of the Artsakh State Emergency Service, in an interview with Armenpress.
Earlier, RIA Novosti reported that a Russian officer was wounded in the explosion. The incident occurred in the vicinity of Mataghis village while a group of Russian peacekeepers, representatives from the Artsakh State Emergency Service, the Azerbaijani armed forces, and the International Committee of the Red Cross were searching for the bodies of those killed in previous battles. It has been noted that one Azerbaijani soldier has died.
