I Will Address the Results of My 2.5 Years of Service Soon: Former Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports A. Harutyunyan

Today, a decision was made to change the leadership at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, appointing Vahram Dumanyan as the new minister. This was announced by Arayik Harutyunyan, the former minister, on his Facebook page.

He specifically noted: “First, I would like to thank the members of the large team at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, whose efforts have initiated serious reforms in many sectors, laying solid foundations for others, and the results will be visible in the coming years. I am grateful for their courage and the patient advancement on difficult reform issues.

In the field of education, long-established stereotypes and misconceptions have only hindered development and must be replaced with concrete solutions, no matter how complex they may seem at first glance. We must acknowledge that:

• Teachers have never been as free as they are now,
• Creators have never been as free as they are now,
• Athletes have freed themselves from traditional dependencies on various groups,
• Science has not received as much attention as it does now compared to previous years.

All of these are essential prerequisites for development. I thank Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who has always supported the reforms in our sector.
