Haik Hovhannisyan's Powers as a Member of the Supreme Judicial Council Revoked

The President of the Supreme Judicial Council of Armenia has signed a decision to revoke Haik Hovhannisyan's powers as a member of the Council.

“Based on the resignation application submitted by Haik Artashes Hovhannisyan on November 23, 2020, and guided by point 5 of part 1 of Article 86, part 2 of the same article, point 1 of part 1 and part 2 of Article 160, point 17 of part 1 and part 1 of Article 89, and part 1 of Article 94 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, the Supreme Judicial Council decides to consider Haik Hovhannisyan's powers as a member of the Supreme Judicial Council revoked as of November 23, 2020,” the decision states.
