Deputy Minister of Defense Gabriel Balayan Submits Resignation

Deputy Minister of Defense Gabriel Balayan has submitted his resignation. This was announced by Balayan in a conversation with the media.

“My colleagues and I have done everything possible to implement reforms in the sectors of defense entrusted to me. I also sadly acknowledge the shortcomings, due to which on November 20 of this year, I applied to the Prime Minister with a request to be relieved of my duties,” Balayan stated.

Gabriel Balayan expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts and hoped that new appointments would lead to tangible achievements for the Republic of Armenia and its security.
