All Settlements in Artsakh Cleared of Explosive Ordnance, Says NKR Ministry of Emergency Situations

From November 16 to 22, the Crisis Management Center of the Artsakh Emergency Situations Ministry received 347 calls and carried out 156 responses. The number of fires has significantly decreased compared to previous weeks. Last week, three fire incidents were registered in the territory of Artsakh, as reported by the NKR Emergency Situations Ministry.

Firefighters continue to operate in an enhanced mode. Last week, there were 56 reports concerning munitions and other explosive materials. The rescue teams transported these to safe areas and neutralized them. Rescue workers are now responding to calls received from the 911 call center, as all settlements have been completely cleared of explosive ordnance.

Russian rescuers are also providing humanitarian assistance to their Artsakh colleagues. Last week, seven road traffic accidents were recorded, resulting in injuries to four citizens. After providing first aid, rescuers transferred the injured to medical facilities. Moreover, there were 66 cases of a social and domestic nature, most of which involved calls for assistance to the population, such as the transportation of patients or deceased individuals, water supply, door opening, and food delivery.
