You Will Live Forever Among Us: Mkrtchian's Message

Henrikh Mkrtchian, midfielder for the Armenian national football team and the Italian club Roma, has made a statement in memory of the heroes who fell in the Artsakh war.

“Our grief is so deep that we cannot express it. Today, a memorial ceremony will be held around the world to honor the memory of our fallen heroes. In Artsakh, for 44 days you displayed incredible courage by sacrificing your lives for the sacred mission of protecting our homeland, our people, and our millennia-old historical lands.

You will live forever among us… We also pray for our wounded brothers. We express our gratitude to all our soldiers. Thank you. I wish strength and solidarity to my nation in overcoming the grief of losing its beloved sons. We must stay focused and aware, utilize our full potential, and create a better world for our youth: a peaceful world where they can realize their dreams,” Mkrtchian wrote on his social media pages.
