No Invitations Issued for Commemoration Ceremony by Mother See, Says Priest Vahram Melikyan

No invitations have been issued by the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin for the commemoration ceremony to anyone, including any state institution or widow. This was stated by Father Vahram Melikyan, the director of the Information System of the Mother See, on his Facebook page.

“I believe that in this situation, special attention should be paid to the message of the Catholicos of All Armenians today, his previous call of November 10, and the statement of the Supreme Spiritual Council. In response to inquiries from journalists and individual letters, let me clarify that the Mother See has not invited anyone to participate in the commemoration ceremony, including any state institutions or widows. The announcement of the ceremony has been public, allowing everyone to follow the commemoration event live or to attend in person. The Catholicos of All Armenians continues his efforts aimed at resolving the internal political crisis and also prays for the peace of our people and homeland,” he stated.
