Russia's Health Minister Provides Armenia with First Samples of Covid-19 Vaccine
A Russian inter-agency delegation, which includes health sector representatives, has arrived in Yerevan. Russia's Health Minister Mikhail Murashko handed over the first samples of the Russian coronavirus vaccine, "Sputnik V", to Armenia's Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan.
“In this difficult period, you have faced two problems: in addition to the epidemiological situation, there are also a large number of patients injured as a result of the war. This is certainly a significant challenge, and what the country's doctors are doing is a feat and heroism,” said Murashko.
He noted that Russian doctors are ready to assist in matters related to anti-epidemic measures. Issues of traumatology and neurosurgery are also important.
A ceremony took place in Yerevan to provide the Armenian side with a mobile biolaboratory. For this purpose, Anna Popova, the head of Rospotrebnadzor, has arrived in Yerevan.
