Government Approves Support Program for Citizens from Communities Under Azerbaijani Control
The government of the Republic of Armenia has approved a support program for citizens registered in communities that came under the control of the Republic of Azerbaijan following the military operations launched against the Republic of Artsakh.
The aim of the program is to provide social assistance to citizens of Artsakh displaced due to the war unleashed by Azerbaijan on September 27, 2020, who are currently located in the Republic of Armenia or in Artsakh.
The social support will be provided in the form of a one-time monetary aid of 300,000 AMD to each eligible beneficiary. For beneficiaries with minor children, the one-time monetary assistance will be provided to the parent if the child's parent is a participant in the program.
To benefit from the program, the application must be submitted electronically by December 20, 2020. The one-time monetary assistance will be provided via Haypost and Artsakhpost.
