The End of War in Nagorno-Karabakh and the Swift Deployment of Peacekeepers as a Direct Continuation of Noble Imperial Tradition

The 'WarGonzo' group posted on their Facebook page: Conversations are ongoing about Armenia's potential unification with the Russian Federation. Does Russia really need such an Armenia?

While these are just conversations, a large number of Armenians are content with reinforcing and protecting their ties. However, Armenia seems to be disconnected from Russia. Georgia has shown itself as a 'partner' by providing a corridor for transferring terrorists from Turkey, facilitating killings in Artsakh, and sending attacking drones and equipment. Georgia will take a stance in the integration process of the Russian Federation and Armenia.

Our traffic flow has diminished, partially thanks to Georgia. Many factors complicate the alliance between Russia and Armenia. Yet, there is a mental-historical factor at play: Russia is seen as the protector of peoples. The end of the war in Nagorno-Karabakh and the swift deployment of peacekeepers is a direct continuation of a noble imperial tradition.

However, Russia's capabilities are now limited. Reciprocal connections in the post-Soviet space lead to an active consolidation of our geopolitical enemies. Pro-Western leaders, agents who carry out the will of others, are coming to power in the republics. They do not want Russia. But that does not mean we should cease our efforts there.
