Unfortunately, We Could Not Remain Unaffected by This. Arsen Torosyan

RA Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan's message.

“Dear compatriots,

In the last two months, we have experienced perhaps the most difficult days of our lives. Now, as we find ourselves in a post-war situation, pain often reminds us of its existence. The war has left very deep and painful consequences for all of us, especially for the fathers and mothers who have lost their sons. However, it is very important in this situation not to lose our cool, sober judgment and to use this moment to re-evaluate our values.

First, I want to condemn all forms of violence; it has never been and will never be a part of our political agenda. But unfortunately, we could not remain unaffected by this.

I condemn the attacks on government and National Assembly buildings, the assaults against National Assembly President Ararat Mirzoyan, as well as all calls for retaliation. These phenomena must never be consolidated or rooted in our country.

We Armenians have always stood out for our unity and readiness to help one another, even in the most difficult situations.

Dear people,

Yes, we still have many great wounds that will only heal if we all unite for the benefit of our country's welfare and stable future. We will still have peaceful skies if we let go of all the negative tensions that surround us at this very moment. We must all unite and heal our wounds together.”
