Video: Hizb ut-Tahrir Terror Cell Neutralized in Kazan

A new cell of the international terrorist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami has been neutralized in Kazan. According to the information provided by the Russian Federal Security Service's public relations center, five active members of the cell were apprehended during the operation, as reported by topwar.ru.

The operation was carried out by the Federal Security Service in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and National Guard units. The statement mentioned that these individuals were engaging in unconstitutional activities based on the doctrine of establishing a so-called 'global caliphate,' aimed at the violent overthrow of the current government and the destruction of secular societal institutions.

It was emphasized that the arrested individuals were promoting their ideology among the residents of the Republic of Tatarstan, recruiting young people who profess Islam into their ranks. During searches at the homes of the arrested, a large amount of banned literature, propaganda materials, communication devices, electronic storage media, and more were discovered and seized.
