Enemy Destroyed, Leaving Dozens if Not Hundreds of Corpses on the Road to Shushi: Armenian Defense Ministry
The units of the Defense Army have performed brilliantly. The enemy has been destroyed, leaving dozens if not hundreds of corpses on the road to Shushi. The defenders of Karin Tak and other nearby villages have shown extraordinary heroism. This was announced during a press briefing by the spokesman of the Armenian Defense Ministry, Artsrun Hovhannisyan.
According to him, the enemy has deployed elite units that are well-armed and capable of conducting long-term battles.
“The operation to defend the city is ongoing. If May 8, 1992, became the day of the city’s liberation, then these days will go down in our nation’s history as the days of Shushi’s defense. Overall, the situation has changed. The fighting continues, but its intensity has decreased. The military operation to eliminate diversionary groups is ongoing. The enemy is desperately trying to seize important transportation hubs,” Hovhannisyan noted.
