Terrorism Can Occur at Any Time in Germany, Warns German Intelligence
German law enforcement agencies must now be "very vigilant" regarding the threat posed by Islamist extremists. This was stated by Thomas Haldenwang, head of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, as reported by Infoteka24.
According to Haldenwang, it is necessary to closely monitor "already known dangerous elements" in light of the recent terrorist attacks. Among them are likely individuals who have contemplated committing similar crimes.
Haldenwang noted that the level of threat from Islamist terrorism remains consistently high, and a terrorist act could occur at any time in Germany.
