On November 2 and the night of the 3rd, the Defense Army forces engaged in defensive battles in the eastern, southeastern, and southern directions. This was reported by the Defense Army.

In the eastern direction, due to tactical considerations, the Defense Army retreated over a small section of the front line, occupying more favorable positions for future combat operations.

In the morning, the Defense Army delivered precise fire on enemy vehicles and personnel attempting to advance in the southern direction, causing losses and forcing them to retreat to their original positions. Military units also silenced the enemy's preemptive activity in the northern direction.

At this moment, attempts by enemy forces to shift the tactical advantage in their favor continue. The Defense Army is controlling the operational-tactical situation.

It should be noted that on September 27, the Azerbaijani armed forces launched a large-scale attack in Artsakh, also targeting the civilian population. The armed forces of Azerbaijan have also targeted military and civilian infrastructure in Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia, resulting in the death of 2 civilians in Gegharkunik, 46 civilians in Artsakh, and 142 civilians being injured.

As a result of Azerbaijani shelling, journalists from both foreign and local media have been injured. A state of war has been declared in Armenia and Artsakh since September 27.

Humanitarian ceasefires have been announced three times already, but the Azerbaijani armed forces have violated them.
