The Azerbaijani army approached the city of Shushi. Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan called on the global Armenian community to join in the defense of the ancient city. Volunteers responded to this call, with hundreds of reservists heading to the frontlines. Many of them have fought in the first Nagorno-Karabakh war and remember this area well.

ANNAnews has released a video on their Telegram channel from Shushi. "Together with a small group of experienced military personnel, we set out for reconnaissance. They were to secure the passage and locate the enemy's saboteur group. In the video, you will see unique footage documenting the identification of the adversary's saboteur group and the ongoing efforts. After that skirmish, the Azerbaijani army was forced to halt their offensive in that direction," the channel stated.
