Armenian Civil Aviation Clarifies Story of 'Mysterious' Flight Reported by Russian Media
The Armenian Civil Aviation Committee has clarified the story of a charters flight on the Socata TBM-930 aircraft that was described as 'mysterious' by the Russian outlet Lenta.ru. The media reported that the aircraft was traveling from Armenia to the Turkish capital, Ankara.
However, according to data from the Flightradar24 system, the aircraft actually flew from Armenia to the Plovdiv airport in Bulgaria and landed there.
“The aircraft belongs to the company 'Goldex Textile,' is registered in Austria, and there are no extraordinary circumstances related to this flight. It arrived in Armenia from Plovdiv (Bulgaria) three days ago and returned today. The same aircraft has previously conducted several flights to and from Armenia,” the Civil Aviation Committee informed Armenpress.
