Video: Turkish Soldiers Likely Attempted to Cross Greek Border with Civilians

Greek border forces witnessed a strange incident yesterday in the Evros region: Turkish soldiers, along with civilians dressed in civil clothes, likely attempted to cross the Greek border, reports greek-city-times.com.

Footage shows that the Turkish soldiers were armed with automatic rifles. It is noted that everything began in the Jemisti area when Greek authorities spotted what appeared to be migrants attempting to illegally penetrate Greek territory in the vicinity of an observatory.

Greek border forces sounded the alarm, and shortly thereafter, five armed individuals along with four unarmed people gathered near the river. Upon noticing the presence of Greek border guards, they hastily fled the area. The Greek side does not rule out that these individuals were searching for ways to illegally cross into Greece.
