Attack on French Consulate Building in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Arabian police have apprehended a man who attempted to attack the French consulate building located in Jeddah, according to Al Arabiya. The publication reports that the Saudi man managed to stab a security officer during the incident.

It has been confirmed that the injured officer has been hospitalized. The French embassy in Saudi Arabia condemned the attack strongly via its Twitter account, stating that the health condition of the injured security officer is stable.
