Azerbaijani Video Has No Relation to Jalal Harutyunyan's Injury

The video circulated by Azerbaijani media has no relation to the circumstances surrounding the injury of Lieutenant General Jalal Harutyunyan. This was stated by Vahram Poghosyan, the press secretary of the President of Artsakh, in an interview with Armenpress.

“Jalal Harutyunyan was injured at a combat position. Fortunately, the injury is not severe, and his life is not in danger. He is currently undergoing intensive treatment and is in the recovery process, and he will return to duty soon,” said Poghosyan.

Earlier, the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, announced that Jalal Harutyunyan had been relieved of his position as the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh due to the injury sustained at a combat position. By another decree, Major General Mikael Albert Arzumanyan was appointed as the Minister of Defense and Commander of the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh, being granted the military rank of Lieutenant General.
