I Condemn Erdogan's Insults Towards President Macron, Says Austrian Chancellor

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz has repeatedly criticized Turkey and its current leadership, demanding sanctions against them, unlike some other European leaders. This time, Kurz took to Twitter to condemn Erdogan's statements directed at French President Emmanuel Macron.

"I condemn President Erdogan's insults towards President Emmanuel Macron. They again show that Turkey is increasingly distancing itself from the European Union and our common values. I offer my full support and solidarity to France," Kurz wrote.

It should be noted that Charles Michel, the President of the European Council, has also stated that Turkey's actions are already unbearable.
