Azerbaijan’s Authorities Have No Intent to Resume Peaceful Dialogue: President of Artsakh Araik Harutyunyan
Despite the efforts of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group aimed at establishing a humanitarian ceasefire in the region, Azerbaijan’s military-political leadership continues to ignore and violate all agreements reached for this purpose. This was stated by the President of Artsakh Araik Harutyunyan on his Facebook page.
“As in previous instances, the agreements reached with the mediation of the United States and the participation of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, which reaffirmed the commitment to implement and maintain the humanitarian ceasefire agreed upon in Moscow on October 10 and in Paris on October 17, have once again been grossly violated by official Baku. Especially in the second half of the day, Azerbaijan resumed offensive operations along the entire front, employing missile and artillery means.
All this confirms that the Azerbaijani authorities, with the unconditional support of Turkey and the assistance of mercenary-terrorists, have no intention of resuming peaceful dialogue and are openly signaling that they will continue military efforts aimed at the final depopulation of Artsakh. Therefore, it is our national duty to fight for the secure and dignified existence of the Armenian population in our homeland. The security and rights of our people are not subject to any concessions, and our determination in this matter surpasses all kinds of circumstances and desires,” he wrote.
