Armenian Side Will Fully Adhere to Ceasefire Regime: Pashinyan
As agreed yesterday in Washington, led by U.S. mediation, the Armenian side will fully adhere to the ceasefire regime starting at 08:00. This was stated by Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page.
It is worth noting that Armenia's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Anna Naghdalyan presented the joint statement from the U.S.-Armenia-Azerbaijan meeting on her Facebook page. "Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met on October 24 with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Steven Biegun and reaffirmed their countries' commitment to implementing and maintaining the ceasefire agreements reached in Moscow on October 10 and reaffirmed on October 17, in line with the statements made on October 1 by U.S. President Donald Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The humanitarian ceasefire will come into effect on October 26, 2020, at 08:00 local time. The United States facilitated intensive negotiations between the foreign ministers and the co-chairs of the Minsk Group to bring Armenia and Azerbaijan closer to a peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
