“Any threat that disrupts the peace of the Iranian people will face retaliatory measures.” Mohamad Pakpour
The commander of the ground forces of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Mohamad Pakpour, has stated that the safety and national interests of his people are the most critical "red lines" for the Islamic Republic of Iran, according to IRNA. He made these remarks during a visit to border areas.
Any danger or threat at the borders that disrupts "the peace of our precious people" will encounter retaliatory measures, Pakpour declared during his visit to the northwestern border regions of the country.
He emphasized that the forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps are deployed at Iran's northwestern borders to protect those territories. Pakpour added that the IRGC actively operates in border regions, monitors the development of border incidents, and takes necessary measures to address all issues.
He highlighted that Iran respects the territorial integrity of neighboring countries but cannot accept any changes to the nature of its borders. It is worth noting that since the beginning of the war in Artsakh, several missiles have fallen within Iranian territory.
