Manvel Grigoryan Transferred to Armenia for Emergency Medical Care
Former commander of the Yerkrapah Volunteer Union, Manvel Grigoryan, has been urgently transferred by ambulance to the intensive care unit of one of Armenia's medical centers at the request of doctors. This was reported by his lawyer, Levon Baghdasaryan.
The lawyer stated, "Hero of Artsakh, Lieutenant General Manvel Grigoryan has been in Artsakh since October 7. From the first day of his stay, in cooperation with the high military-political leadership of Artsakh, parts of the units he led have been at the hottest points on the front lines, causing panic among the enemy without retreating even a step. Other parts have been engaged in self-defense operations in residential areas, firmly securing the rear of that front line. With his victorious experience from the 1990s, he has shown a preference for offensive battles and advancing through liberation, rather than focusing on positional battles, considering the enemy's large number and military equipment.
Unfortunately, serious illnesses and the negative dynamics of his health, which could not be treated abroad due to the inaction of the health minister and the court, have exacerbated his condition, leading to a sharp deterioration. In the night of October 20-21, the commanders of his units temporarily assigned their responsibilities to others and, at the request of doctors, he was urgently transferred to the intensive care unit of one of Armenia's medical centers. We wish the commander a speedy recovery and return to Artsakh.
