Modern Heroes and Their Feats, Artsakh Defense Army

The Artsakh Defense Army has issued a statement, which we present below.

Modern Heroes

Lieutenant Colonel Taron Kocharyan is among the brave soldiers proposed for the Battle Cross of the second degree, who has successfully organized the defense of his unit and, by taking active measures, destroyed a significant amount of enemy military equipment and personnel. For similar actions, Colonel Artur Hovsepyan will be awarded the Medal for Courage.

Private Gorg Hovhannisyan, Vardges Aloyan, Petik Hunanian, Rafael Karapetyan, Hayk Darbinyan, Sergeant Vahe Sahakyan, and Senior Sergeant Mher Danielyan have also contributed to collective and individual acts of heroism. The troops, under the command of Senior Sergeant Mher Danielyan, bravely fought against the superior forces of the attacking enemy, causing numerous losses.

Among the neutralized enemy personnel was a high-ranking officer with the rank of colonel, who was personally destroyed by Senior Sergeant Danielyan, who seized important documents and radio communication.

All of the mentioned soldiers have been proposed for state awards and will soon receive the Medal for Courage, while Private Gorg Hovhannisyan has been nominated for the Battle Cross knightly order of the second degree.
