1540 New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Armenia, 11 New Deaths

As of October 17, 1540 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 63,000. This was reported by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.

In the past day, 11 citizens have died due to coronavirus, raising the total death toll to 1067. Regarding the death cases, it is reported that the patients were aged 75 (female), 64 (male), 89 (male), 78 (female), 70 (female), 69 (male), 71 (male), 68 (male), 66 (female), 82 (female), and 73 (male). All of them had accompanying chronic illnesses.

In the past day, the number of recoveries has reached 384, with a total of 47,925 recoveries noted so far, while 13,694 are currently under treatment. A total of 3,937 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, and to date, a total of 344,053 tests have been carried out.
