It should be noted that on September 27, the Azerbaijani armed forces launched a large-scale attack in Artsakh, targeting even the civilian population. The enemy has suffered more than 5,839 casualties. On the Armenian side, preliminary data indicates there are 633 casualties. Azerbaijani armed forces have also targeted military and civilian infrastructure in Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia, resulting in the deaths of 2 civilians in Gegharkunik, 33 civilians in Artsakh, and 106 civilians injured. Preliminary reports indicate significant damage to more than 6,700 private properties, over 640 vehicles, and around 1,110 infrastructural, public, and production facilities.

As a result of Azerbaijani shelling, journalists from both foreign and local media have been injured. A state of martial law was declared in Armenia and Artsakh on September 27. A ceasefire came into effect on October 10 at 12:00, however, the Azerbaijani armed forces carried out diversionary operations and shelled peaceful settlements in Artsakh after the ceasefire.
