Difficult and Heavy Battles Ongoing: Artsrun Hovhannisyan

Armenia's Ministry of Defense representative Artsrun Hovhannisyan stated during a briefing that early this morning, the Azerbaijani armed forces launched a large-scale attack after intense artillery bombardments from both the north and south, employing various aerial assault means including drones, missiles, and air strikes. Following at least two fierce assaults, our armed forces have managed to repel the Azerbaijani armed forces and terrorist groups in the northern direction, failing to capture any heights or positions.

“Heavy battles have continued throughout the day in the southern direction. Our troops have made regroupings in certain directions. As of now, difficult and heavy battles are ongoing, especially in the southern direction. Throughout the day, the Azerbaijani air force has also conducted several flights. During this time, combat strikes have been carried out, and we have managed to neutralize some flying objects,” Hovhannisyan noted.
