Shushi, Stepanakert, Hadrut, and Martuni Targeted by 4 Main Rocket Systems
The desperate measures of the Azerbaijani armed forces have been apparent from the very first day, set against the backdrop of failures on the battlefield. This was stated by the representative of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, during a recent briefing, referring to the enemy's actions of targeting civilian objects, infrastructure, sanctuaries, and residents in Artsakh.
“On the other hand, we have seen for centuries, we have been convinced that our sanctuaries are always targeted, regardless of where they are located and what method is used to target them, whether by artillery strikes, explosions, or simply being smashed with a hammer,” said Hovhannisyan.
When asked whether there is information on what type of missile was used to strike the Ghazanchetsots Church in Shushi, Hovhannisyan responded, “At this moment, I do not have information about a specific aerial attack mechanism; this requires further investigation. However, mainly, Shushi, Stepanakert, Hadrut, and Martuni are subjected to strikes from various rocket systems. These are primarily four systems: ‘Smerch,’ ‘Krasukha,’ ‘Polonaise,’ and ‘LAR-160.’
