Intense Battles Ongoing Especially in the Southern Direction: Arzrun Hovhannisyan

“Right now, intense battles are taking place both in the north and in the southern direction. However, the attacks are more intense and stubborn in the southern direction. The Armenian armed forces have inflicted significant losses on the enemy's personnel and military equipment through return fire, pushing the enemy back from its initial positions,” stated Arzrun Hovhannisyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, during a briefing today.

He noted that according to information gathered until October 7, 4600 properties have been damaged in Artsakh due to Azerbaijani fire, along with 430 mobile properties, and 750 various types of infrastructure have been destroyed. Additionally, 20 civilians have lost their lives.
