Volunteer, veteran Mher Harutyunyan (Jut from Hrazdan) killed in action

Mher Harutyunyan (Jut from Hrazdan), a 47-year-old member of the ARF "Volunteer Movement" NGO, was killed while carrying out a combat mission in Artsakh. He was actively involved in the Artsakh Liberation War. Mher was only 16 years old when the Artsakh movement began, and he was the youngest among his friends who went to the front, which earned him the nickname Jut.

Mher participated in the defense of Getashen, Shahumyan, and other self-defense battles.

Earlier, the spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Artshrin Hovhannisyan, reported that on October 6, around 14:00, a counteroffensive was organized with the active involvement of the "Volunteer Movement" NGO, successfully retaking the height known as Varangatag (Lulasaz) towards the north.
