In Stepanakert and Shushi, There Are Casualties from Shelling: Artur Hovhannisyan
Today, the cities of Artsakh, including Stepanakert, Shushi, Hadrut, and other settlements, have come under artillery and rocket fire from Azerbaijani armed forces. There are casualties, and precise data will be summarized later. The affected individuals are dozens of civilians whose homes have been destroyed, and personal belongings and vehicles have been damaged or destroyed.
This was stated by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, Artur Hovhannisyan, during a press briefing with journalists.
“Throughout the day, fierce and challenging battles have been taking place along the entire border, especially in the southern direction. Currently, these battles are still ongoing. Indeed, our armed forces have seen successes, but the battles are difficult, heavy, and persistent, continuing even during the dark hours of the night,” he said.
According to Hovhannisyan, today the enemy has managed to deliver significant blows in several areas. Thanks to our substantial artillery and rocket strikes, the enemy has reportedly lost a considerable amount of equipment, and videos have also been released showing how the enemy’s columns are being utterly destroyed and fleeing.
