Details About the UAV and Missile Downed in Georgia

On October 7, between 18:35 and 18:45, the Emergency Situations Service of Georgia received reports regarding a missile and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs immediately launched an investigation.

Missile in Kghvareli
At around 18:35 on October 7, the first report was received by the Emergency Service concerning a device downed in a vineyard. It has been determined that the device in the vineyard is a missile.

The missile fell in the village of Kuchatani in the Kghvareli region, according to aliq.ge.

UAV in Sagarejo
Minutes later, a second report was received by the Emergency Service regarding another device. It was discovered that an unmanned aerial vehicle fell in the village of Udabno in the Sagarejo region.

Kakheti is located in southeastern Georgia, bordering Azerbaijan, and Udabno is a border village. The David Gareja Monastery complex is located near Udabno.
