Iran's Defense Minister Warns Armenia and Azerbaijan

Firing on Iranian territory is unacceptable. This was stated by Iran's Defense Minister Amir Khatami while discussing gunfire from the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone into Iranian territory. The Iranian minister stated that Tehran will take appropriate measures if the shooting does not cease on its territory. This was reported by IRNA.
Khatami warned that even if the gunfire is accidental, it is unacceptable. He added, 'We hope that these warnings will be accepted by our neighbors who are in conflict with each other, as the safety of Iranian citizens is a vital issue.'
