If They Are Men, Let Them Come to Fight Face to Face: Artsakh Parliament President to Azerbaijanis
The war has its written and unwritten rules, but it is the weaker side that strikes at the capital and cities where peaceful residents live and suffer casualties. This was stated by the President of the Artsakh National Assembly, Arthur Tokmajyan, during a press conference.
“We deliver proportional strikes to Azerbaijani cities, but we are forced to do so. It is unacceptable to bombard peaceful settlements. We have casualties, and Azerbaijanis also claim they have them. If they are men, let them come to fight face to face at the front line,” he said.
Tokmajyan welcomed the political stability in Armenia and Artsakh, emphasizing that only unity will help win. “Today, there is one party in Armenia which represents 10 million people; it is the party of the people of Armenia. Political games have been set aside,” he added.
