Cavusoglu Continues Aggressive Rhetoric

Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has reaffirmed his country's aggressive stance regarding the military actions unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh in Baku. According to Armenpress, Cavusoglu announced Turkey's readiness to provide any support to Azerbaijan, indirectly confirming that they no longer hide their involvement in war crimes against the peaceful population of Artsakh.

He also criticized the OSCE Minsk Group for not having a clear plan to resolve the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. In doing so, Cavusoglu ignores the efforts of the co-chairmanship of the Minsk Group in recent days to prevent further bloodshed and disregards calls for not allowing external intervention.

On the morning of September 27, Azerbaijan began active military operations along the entire length of the contact line with Artsakh. Civilian areas, including the capital Stepanakert and Shushi, are also being shelled and bombed. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces have targeted both military and civilian infrastructures in Armenia.

As a result of Azerbaijan's unleashed aggression in Artsakh and Armenia, involving the use of the entire arsenal—shelling, drone strikes, and rocket fire—21 civilians have been killed and 80 injured. Additionally, 240 servicemen and volunteers have lost their lives in the war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh.
