Alert: Some Individuals Are Visiting Citizens Transferred from Artsakh to Armenia, Photographing Their Passports
In recent days, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has received reports about a group of individuals purporting to represent the ministry, visiting citizens who have taken temporary shelter in Armenia after being displaced from Artsakh, as well as those who are hosting them.
These individuals claim to represent the ministry and are demanding and photographing the passports of Artsakh citizens. Additionally, fraudsters exploiting the ministry's name are asking for money from our compatriots from Artsakh to resolve accommodation or transportation issues.
Please remain vigilant. Do NOT allow anyone to photograph your identification documents.
Ask every individual claiming to represent state structures to provide confirming identification. Report any such incidents to the Police at 1-02, or to the Military Situation Hot Line at 117. If that is not possible, reach out to the locals who are hosting you.
And remember, for solutions to social issues arising from the war, call 117 and do not pay anyone promising you assistance.
