Recall that on September 27, the Azerbaijani armed forces launched a large-scale attack in Artsakh, targeting even civilian populations. As of October 4, the Artsakh military has shot down 14 helicopters, 17 planes, 124 drones, and destroyed 368 armored vehicles, mainly tanks, along with 82 vehicles, 10 armored personnel carriers, one TOS-1A heavy flamethrower system, 4 Smerch, and 1 Uragan multiple rocket launcher.

The casualties on the enemy side exceed 3,145, with more than 5,270 wounded. Preliminary data indicates that there are 209 casualties and more than 200 wounded on the Armenian side.

Azerbaijani armed forces have also targeted military and civilian infrastructure in Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia, resulting in the deaths of 2 civilians in Gegharkunik and 11 people in Artsakh. Journalists from both foreign and local media have been injured due to Azerbaijani shelling.

A state of martial law was declared in Armenia and Artsakh on September 27.
