Message to All Armenians to Unite and Support Artsakh and Our Army: A Call from Archbishop Pargev

Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan of Artsakh delivered a message today addressed to the entire Armenian nation.

“My dear compatriots, I appeal to all, to the entire nation of Armenia to unite and support Artsakh and our army. Just a little while ago, the President of Artsakh, Mr. Arayik Harutyunyan, set off for the frontline to lead and strengthen our defenders of the homeland. Today, indeed, a fierce and brutal war is taking place, a life-and-death battle, a struggle for survival. You know that we have never initiated a war, we have never violated a ceasefire, but every time, they treacherously start a war against us.

Every person, every nation has the right to defend their lives and protect themselves. Today, we are compelled to give our struggle, our fight for life and for peace. I want you all to come together with deep faith and heroic spirit as one fist, one thought, one will, and support our army and the people of Artsakh in every possible way. We are here, and we know that behind us is Mother Armenia. We must be as stable and unshakeable as Mount Ararat.

Today at 18:00, I request all Armenians around the world to join in unified prayer for the support of our army. And we all pray for our success, victory, and peace. So we await all your prayers and support. Be strong, be steadfast; our cause is just, and God always stands by the righteous. God bless all of Armenia and our army. Amen.”
