Government Meeting Will Not Take Place Today
The Government of Armenia will not hold a meeting on October 1, as is typically done every Thursday.
The Law on the Structure and Functioning of the Government stipulates that meetings are generally convened once a week. As reported by Armen Khachatryan, head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Prime Minister's Office, representatives of the executive power are discussing and approving projects remotely through written voting.
"Decisions discussed and approved on September 28 have already been published on the government's website. There will be regular updates, and all projects discussed remotely and approved by written voting will be posted on the government's website," Khachatryan noted.
A state of war has been declared in Armenia and Artsakh starting from September 27 due to military actions unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh, with the involvement of Turkey beginning on September 29.
